About this check
Loral's assistant is made for the days before a dental appointment. You take a few guided photos, answer a couple of questions, and get a plain-language read on what is visible — plus a clear next step, whatever the outcome.
What it can do
- •Describe how your gum line looks in the photos you take
- •Point out visible plaque, tartar build-up and staining
- •Flag areas that look worth a dentist's attention
- •Tell you honestly when it is not confident
- •Turn everything into questions you can ask at your appointment
What it cannot do
- •Diagnose decay, gum disease or any other condition
- •Replace an examination, X-rays or a hygienist visit
- •Assess trauma, swelling, fever, post-surgery sites or braces
- •Check children under 12
- •Handle emergencies — for those, contact a dentist today
Your photos and privacy
There is no account and no photo library. Your images stay in the browser tab and are sent once for analysis; they are not stored afterwards. Only the details you type into a dentist request are saved, so a clinic can reply. Closing the tab clears everything else.
When not to wait
Facial or gum swelling, fever, a knocked-out tooth, or bleeding that will not stop need same-day professional care. Do not use this assistant to decide whether to wait.
